How to choose the perfect haircut for your face shape and body.

You’ve been thinking about getting a haircut for awhile now, but you’re not sure what will look best on you. Do you want long or short hair? A new style? With so many options, it can be hard to decide. But don’t worry, we’re here to help! We’re going to give you some tips on how to choose the perfect haircut for your face shape and body.

When choosing the most flattering haircut/style your stylist will consider your face shape. This will help you narrow down your options and find a style that flatters your features.

Not sure what styles look best with your face shape? Here’s a quick rundown:

-If you have a round face, you want to choose a style that will make your face appear narrower. Avoid haircuts that are chin-length or shorter, as they will only accentuate the roundness of your face. Instead, opt for a style that hits at or below the shoulders. Longer layers around the face will also help to create the illusion of a slimmer face.

-If you have an oval face, you’re in luck! This is considered the “ideal” face shape, so pretty much any hairstyle will look good on you. But if you’re looking for ideas, try a chin-length bob or shoulder-length waves.

-If you have a square face, you want to avoid styles that are straight and blunt. Choppy layers around the face will help soften your features. And if you want to add some length to your look, go for a style that hits below the chin or even at the collarbone.

-If you have a heart-shaped face, you want to avoid styles that are too short or too long. Shoulder-length haircuts with side-swept bangs are always flattering, as they help balance out your facial proportions. And if you want to add some volume at the crown of your head, try layers or gentle waves.

In addition to considering your face shape, it’s also important to think about your body type when choosing a haircut. Again, you want to avoid styles that accentuate any areas that you’re self-conscious about.

So, if you have a pear-shaped body (i.e., wider hips), avoid styles that add volume at the bottom half of your head. Instead, opt for styles that are longer in length and add volume at the crown (think: long layers or even a pixie cut).

If you have an hourglass figure (i.e., bigger bust and hips), then go for styles that hit right at or below the shoulder—anything too short will make your waist appear larger.

And if you have an apple-shaped body (i.e., bigger in the middle), then avoided chin-length cuts and instead go for styles that fall just below the jawline—this will help create the illusion of a longer neckline. Overall, keep in mind that choosing a haircut is all about finding something that makes YOU feel confident and comfortable in YOUR own skin!

We hope these tips have helped give you some clarity on how to choose the perfect haircut for your face shape and body type! No matter what style you ultimately choose, remember that confidence is always in fashion ;)
