I love doing hair! I have worked in the service industry since I was 15 years old and cannot imagine doing anything else. After graduating from Loyola University New Orleans with a degree in Mass Communications and getting a job as a corporate event planning sales assistant, I quickly realized that working the typical 9 to 5 was not for me. I knew I wanted to do something to make others feel good, but I wanted to do something with a refined skill that allowed me to be creative. After putting my degree to use for 9 months, I quit my sales assistant job and enrolled at Aveda Institute. It was the best decision I have ever made! Every day is the perfect balance of giving my guests a luxury experience while still having the ability to be creative and have fun.
It is my personalized service and more than 15 years of experience behind the chair that differentiates me from other stylists. I pride myself in taking the time with my guests for a thorough consultation and, most importantly, providing my guests with a perfect haircut. Despite my extensive experience behind the chair, I am always looking for and seeking out the newest education and training on the current trends. Self-care is so important, so my goal is for you to leave feeling relaxed, beautiful, and educated on how to maintain your new style.
As much as I love chatting with my clients, I am actually an introvert. When I am not at the salon I enjoy riding my Peloton, reading a good mystery or current best seller, watching Dateline NBC, listening to classic indie music and especially spending time with my husband and and little girl.
