Hi! I'm Jen :)
I am a New Orleans native, born and raised in the crescent city. I've spent much of my formative years working and hanging out here on Magazine Street, so I feel right at home doing what I love, in the neighborhood I love and where I have spent so much of my life.
One of my favorite things about my job is getting to know my clients on a personal basis. I take great pride, not only in my work, but the relationships I form with my regulars. I absolutely insist on a comfortable experience for my clientele where they can feel open and honest about the look they're hoping for and can go away feeling fulfilled and their best selves. I love being able to do something new every day. I pride myself in being a good listener and enjoy the variety of conversations my job allows me to engage in-as well as the personalities I meet throughout any given day.
I always knew I didn't want a traditional 9-5 job. An art major from Loyola University in New Orleans, I decided to turn my lifelong passion for all thins fashion and beauty into a career so I enrolled in the Aveda Institute in 2009. Through my job as hairstylist, I am fulfilled on a daily basis by engaging in my two great loves-art and beauty.
As an all-around cosmetologist, I excel in women's haircutting as well as color. I love the sense of accomplishment that comes from covering stubborn grey. I could never pick one service to perform all day. Variety is what I enjoy.
When I am not working I love to take long bike rides through Audubon Park, visiting museums, watching all of Bravo and spending time with my husband in the garden.
