What is your cancellation policy? ​ At Sage, we value everyone's time and appreciate your understanding in managing appointments effectively. If you need to cancel or modify, kindly provide 48 hours notice by emailing sagehairco@gmail.com or contacting your stylist. Cancellations within 48 hours may incur a 50% rebooking fee, and cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows will be charged 100%. If you're running late by 15 minutes or more, we may need to adjust your service(s), with the full amount charged. For any questions or concerns about our policy, feel free to discuss with the salon or your stylist. We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to providing you with exceptional service.

Do you have a service guarantee? ​ Should you find any aspect of your service(s) less than satisfactory, please reach out to the salon via email (sagehairco@gmail.com) or directly contact your stylist within two weeks from the date of the service. This will allow us to promptly address any concerns and make the necessary adjustments to ensure your complete satisfaction.

What should I wear to my appointment? ​ Wear comfortable attire with no high or bulky necklines to ensure ease during your salon appointment. If you're opting for hair color, consider wearing something dark or be prepared to change into our color kimono for optimal convenience.

Are there any steps into your salon? ​ Yes, there is one step to enter our salon and an additional four steps leading up to the shampoo area. If you have any concerns or specific accessibility needs, feel free to contact us, and we'll be happy to assist you.

Do you offer trims, kids cuts or mens cuts? ​ At our salon, we don't differentiate between trims, kids cuts, or men's cuts. Instead, we book and charge all hair services based on the time required to deliver a precision cut every time, irrespective of length, age, or gender. The value of the service is determined by the stylist's demand on their time, ensuring each client receives the dedicated attention needed for an exceptional experience.

Where should I park? ​ Although we don't have designated parking, you'll find ample free, unmetered street parking on Magazine Street and the surrounding neighborhood.

Do you take walk-ins? ​ While our stylists are typically booked at least 24 hours in advance, we do accommodate walk-ins based on same-day availability. The best way to check for openings is to send a text to (504) 603-6053. You can also view and reserve any available slots on our website at www.vagaro.com/sagehaircollective. We look forward to assisting you!

Should I come with clean or dirty hair? ​ It's a common misconception, but clean hair is the way to go for your salon appointment. While two-day-old hair is generally acceptable, excess product build-up and oils can hinder the effectiveness of color, especially with ammonia-free products that I use. So, come with clean hair to ensure the best results!

Can I bring my child(ren) with me to my appointment? ​ While we adore children, bringing them to your appointment may disrupt our focused time together, impacting our ability to achieve your hair goals. To ensure a relaxing experience and optimal results, we recommend arranging childcare before your appointment. This way, you can fully enjoy your time with us without any distractions.

What if I don't want to schedule using your online booking site? ​ We understand that online booking might not be everyone's preference. As we operate without a reception team for prompt and convenient appointments, if you prefer a callback, please leave a message, and we'll get back to you between Monday and Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, within 24 hours of the first business day after receiving your message. We aim to make scheduling as seamless as possible for you!

How do I know what to book? ​ Wonderful question! We have a detailed service menu available for you to peruse. If you're still uncertain about what to book, please don't hesitate to contact me. Ensuring we're on the same page and have enough time together is a priority, and I'm here to assist you in making the best choice for your needs.

Do you exclusively use products that are organic, vegan, and cruelty-free? ​ At our salon, we exclusively use Innersense Organic Beauty for washing and styling hair. As a Certified B Corp, they uphold the highest standards for clean beauty. For hair coloring, we prioritize ammonia-free options without PPD. While we aim to be as clean as possible with our chemical services, we prioritize the performance of the product and the integrity of your hair, acknowledging that the technology in chemical products may not be fully there yet. Rest assured, the products we choose are among the cleanest available in the USA, prioritizing both your health and ours.

What if I don't love the product(s) I purchased? ​ If you're dissatisfied with a retail purchase, don't worry—we'll find something better! To initiate a product exchange at full credit, please email me at sagehairco@gmail.com within 7 days of your initial purchase. Please note that hair extension purchases are final and cannot be exchanged.
